long-distance connections.
Gigabyte Express for Windows™ and Gigabyte Express
for Macintosh™ were introduced in 1996 to help move files efficiently over the Internet
and private IP networks.
Niwot's patented RELIA™ technology was integrated with
Gigabyte Express in 2000 to speed file transfer over IP networks with satellite delay.
You've Got Files!™ was introduced in 2001 to address our file-moving customer's requests
to provide email notification when new files arrived.
Share By Mail™ is being introduced in 2004 to synchronize and move files efficiently
using email as the transport.
Niwot's focus is to meet our customer's needs in the areas of moving, monitoring, and managing
files.

William A. Gibson
President and Chief Technical Officer
With extensive experience
in the high technology industry, Gibson founded Niwot Networks, Inc. in 1988
to provide high speed communication boards and drivers for PC-based routers.
Over a 30 year span, Gibson has engineered computer products and developed new
technologies for Amdahl, Siemens, McData and GE, as well as Niwot.
Gibson holds 4 U. S.
patents including Patent Number 6,445,717 for RELIA™ Technology.
Gibson holds a Master of
Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
from Stanford University.
Ed Goulet
Software Engineering
With
over 20 years experience in the software industry, Goulet has designed and
written code for major computer users. He has been integral in the design and
development of web-based resource scheduling products for Chevron, General
Motors, IBM and KPMG, as well as Niwot’s Gigabyte Express, encryption, and You’ve Got
Files!
