- Each profile will monitor the specified directory and all of its sub-directories.
- Monitor network-accessible Windows
and Linux shares using UNC path names or drive letters.
- Peer Profiles exchange information and keep both sides synchronized.
- Master Profiles never have their contents modified by Share By Mail.
- Slave Profiles will have their contents modified to match the corresponding Master Profile.
- All files deleted by Share By Mail are archived and recoverable.
- User may specify where deleted files should be placed by editing Abc*SavedFilesDir= in their sbmconf.txt file.
- User may specify the number of megabytes which may be accepted by their email hoster.
- Automated unattended operation is the norm. Share By Mail is started (from Start Up) when the user logs on.
- Share By Mail runs on Windows XP, 2000, 2003, NT, Me, and 98 platforms.
